Network Monitoring with Metadefender and InQuest
Perimeter security defenses are becoming less effective at securing networks from threats embedded within files and email attachments. InQuest offers an on-premise network-based security solution that inspects application content over the most commonly used network protocols and performs Deep File Inspection (DFI) capable of detecting malware as it passes through traditional security defenses.
Through an integration with Metadefender, InQuest quickly scans files for threats with multiple anti-malware engines, allowing for high throughput and increased malware detection rates without the hassle of licensing, integrating, and maintaining the engines. Metadefender bolsters network defenses for InQuest customers by:
- Scanning files and running processes with the most advanced engines
- Creating a process to scan endpoints for threats so they can be removed from the internal network
- Auditing file scans from all endpoints in the network
