Build and Enhance Security with OPSWAT
We offer APIs for advanced threat prevention and for device compliance / SaaS access control. These APIs are available for both cloud and on-premises deployments to secure data and devices as they flow into and out of organizations. Our APIs allow developers to take advantage of multiple anti-malware engines, comprehensive vulnerability databases, industry-leading data sanitization technology (CDR) and aggregated unique threat data.
Note: Metadefender is not available for OEM or white labeling. ISVs integrating Metadefender with their solutions via our APIs should be aware that end customers will need to license Metadefender as an OPSWAT end customer in order for the joint solution to function. Metadefender On-Premises API
Metadefender exposes a rich set of APIs that can be used to build powerful multi-scanning and data sanitization features into already deployed security architectures. IT administrators make use of these REST APIs to build Metadefender into their network architecture alongside dynamic analysis solutions, file upload servers, and MFTs. Software developers at ISVs often utilize the APIs to integrate the extra security provided by Metadefender into their development processes. See our use cases for a range of anti-malware API solutions that can be created with Metadefender.

Metadefender Cloud API - Fast and Private
Harness OPSWAT’s fast and fully configured back-end services in the cloud and leave the heavy lifting to us. The REST API for file processing is identical to the on-premise API making this API a very fast way for prototyping integration to explore Metadefender fully.
In addition, OPSWAT has added other API calls to the cloud API that include threat intelligence feeds and broader threat prevention data sources. Designed for enterprise malware researchers, incident response teams, and technology providers, our Metadefender Cloud API offers the fastest binary hash lookup engine in the cloud and leverages threat feeds built from over 40 verified sources. Best of all, you can ensure your data and files stay private and are not exposed to the broader community in the cloud. Read more about this issue.
Endpoint compliance and cloud access control APIs allow developers to easily integrate the device compliance information available through our cloud platform into your own solutions. Available data includes endpoint details such as device information (Hostname, MAC/IP Address) and device security status as indicated by the presence and status of installed anti-malware, antiphishing, public file sharing, and disk encryption applications. These APIs can be used to enhance authentication and enforcement features of secure access solutions (SSL VPN, NAC, CASB, SSO, etc.) or can be integrated into a remote monitoring and management platform for expansive visibility into the endpoints under management. The integration options are unlimited.
